CADWorx
PIPE 2004 Enhancements
CADWorx PIPE provides 2D orthographics, isometrics or 3D
modelling for any size project, large or small. It includes NavisWorks
for real-time walk-through and animation at your desktop.
Enhancements in CADWorx PIPE 2004 include:
Improved integrated steel capabilities
- Provides steel that is stretchable and editable. Use the grips
or the AutoCAD stretch command to change the length, or double
click to change its properties.
- Includes built-in coping. Joined members can now be coped or
notched using welded or bolted tolerances.
- Uses CADWorx Pipe bill of materials (BOM) generator. Steelwork
BOM’s are now user configurable and can match piping BOM
formats.
- Adds external databases link options. Select static or live
database output for project-wide reporting of structural components.
- Includes extensive library of steel members. User editable data
files with commonly used steel shapes are included.
- Allows easy access to steel properties. Quickly and easily
view steel properties such as weight and dimensional values on
screen. No more searching for a structural handbook!
Integrated HVAC/cable tray components
- Uses CADWorx PIPE’s bill of materials (BOM) generator.
HVAC/Cable tray BOM’s are now user configurable and can
match piping BOM formats.
- Provides a complete library of HVAC/Cable tray shapes including
square to round or oval transitions.
New piping features
- Adds specification-driven automatic weld gaps. When activated,
automatic weld gaps are selected and placed exactly to specification
for size, wall thickness, etc, allowing for accurate weld reports
for cost estimating purposes.
- Includes layering by line number. A new feature allows users
the option of setting individual layers for each line number.
CADWorx P&ID 2004 Enhancements
CADWorx P&ID is a powerful, easy to use program for creating
Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) that establishes
a new benchmark for user configurable features and database integrity.
The Loops option makes it fast and easy to create hundreds or thousands
of loop diagrams.
New capabilities in CADWorx P&ID 2004 include:
- Enhanced copy procedures
- Auto repeat for component insertion
Eliminates the need to re-select the component each time during
repeated insertions.
- Default value dropdown list for ease of data entry
Includes a user-defined list of default data that can be accessed
for additional data linked to any external project database, thus
reducing errors and automating input.
