rectifiers
Posted: 24 January 2004
Danway LLC, a leading engineering group in the United Arab Emirates
recently entered into a business partnership with Erskine Systems
Ltd (ESL), a division of TT electronics plc, UK.
Hussain Al Nowais, Chairman, Danway stated that the company’s
entry into expanding the local value addition is further strengthened
by this key partnership. Danway will provide the local assembly,
installation, test and commissioning of switch mode rectifiers and
system management products supplied by ESL.
This is the first time that ESL has introduced such a partnership
to the Middle Eastern market. The partnership will provide both
parties with the opportunity to enter new markets, and provide customers
with a comprehensive local after sales support facility.
As a key systems house in the Electricity Generation & Distribution,
Petrochemical Communications, and Defence sectors, Danway has been
selling the full range of ESL thyristor controlled industrial battery
chargers and UPS into the region for 20 years.
This new agreement covers switch mode DC power systems deploying
the latest technologies in the field of rectifier design and systems
management, strengthening both Erskine and Danway’s position
in the communications market.
The latest Erskine switch mode rectifiers offer incredibly high
power density, amongst the best available for today’s communication
markets. These products are designed as part of a flexible, modular,
power system building approach that allows Danway to supply standard
systems up to 10000A and customise to suit client specifications
with minimum delay.
