2004 in Doha, Qatar
Registration

year, registration for LNG 14 is looking set to exceed LNG 13.
The LNG Organizing Committee would like to urge all prospective
delegates to act quickly to secure your place and preferred accommodation.
When completing the registration, please indicate which events,
social functions and tours you plan to participate in.
The latest information including the full list of papers and posters

Early Bird ends Saturday
If you have not yet registered for LNG 14 you are encouraged to
do so by Saturday 31 January, to benefit from the early bird special
rate.
Due to the large number of delegates expected, waiting to the last
minute and registering on-site should be a last option.
Please ensure you include your photo with your registration so
we can have your LNG 14 name badge ready and waiting.
If you have not yet received your copy of the LNG 14 Registration
Handbook with the details of the program, speakers, conference organization
and general information about Qatar to make your stay all the more
enjoyable, the LNG 14 Secretariat may not have your mailing address.
Please forward it to lng14@qp.com.qa
to ensure your copy. Please note that all amendments to the program
since publication are posted on the LNG 14 website.
Eid Al Adha Holiday
On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the LNG 14 Secretariat will be closed
between January 30 and February 7. This may result in a delay in
acknowledgement for registration forms received during this period.
However, forms dated up to 31 January, will be charged the Early
Bird rate.
Hotel update
Please note in making your hotel preferences on the registration
form that the following hotels are now fully booked: Ritz Carlton,
Sheraton, Inter-Continental and Marriott. Many of the hotels have
as a condition a minimum nights' stay. This is their prerogative
and the Secretariat is unable to have this condition waived.
The Sofitel Doha has been recently re-branded to Mercure Grand
Hotel, Doha City Center. Contact numbers remain the same. The website
for the hotel is now http://www.mercuredoha.com/
Media accreditation
Members of the press can now apply for accreditation by downloading
the form through the LNG 14 website.
Please note that the deadline for application is March 9. Members
of the press wishing to attend the full program including all sessions
will have to register as a delegate.
Taking the queues out of Qatar
If you have not yet supplied the LNG 14 Secretariat with your photo
please do so ASAP. We are aiming to keep queues as short as possible
given the large number of delegates already registered.
Delegates are reminded that LNG 14 commences on Sunday, 21 March
2004 with the Opening Ceremony at 10am. Participants must be seated
at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

house extra stands and conference luncheons. To enhance interaction
between exhibitors and delegates, all official luncheons will be
held at the QIEC.
The Exhibition is the largest display of LNG related products ever
assembled and promises much to all delegates. The 121 Exhibitors
are representing 28 countries and have committed huge resources
to present a showcase that rivals all other Exhibitions. They promise
a very warm welcome and have exciting new products, technology and
services to make your visit worthwhile.
