Prize’ for the year 2003. Conferred by the Vietnamese government,
the award reflects the performance of foreign enterprises operating

economy.
Out of a total of some 1,000 entities vying for the Golden Dragon
Cup, ZSV emerged as one of 30 winners from 10 categories, and won
for having the best product in the ‘construction and construction
material’ category.
On receiving the award from Madam Nguyen Thi Binh, Former Vice
President of Vietnam, at a prize giving ceremony held on 20 February
2004, George Kobrossy, General Director, ZSV said:
“Zamil Steel Vietnam is proud to be the recipient of this
year’s award, which underscores the positive recognition of
our company in this country. We remain committed to building upon
our successes, and - through our own growth and expansion - to an
ongoing contribution to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.”
The selection criteria for the prize stresses the quality of products
and services, an awareness of trademarks, company turnover and growth,
customer services, contribution to the local economy, care of employees,
as well as participation in humanitarian and charitable work.
The Golden Dragon award was established in 2001 and is organized
by Vietnam Economic Times with full support from the Ministry of
Planning and Investment, Ministry of Culture and Information, Ministry
