A unique platform for the global chemical process &
pharma industry
CHEMTECH World Expo 2005, the International Exhibition and Conference
encompassing the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy and environment
sectors, will be held in Mumbai from February 8-12, 2005. The event,
sponsored by CHEMTECH Foundation, will display state-of-the-art
technologies, equipment, accessories and services from national
and international players in each sector.

concurrent international conferences will deliberate on issues of
topical interest to practising professionals.
Scope of participation
The exhibition will be spread over 20,000 sq. meters and will represent
a cross section of the Indian process engineering and equipment
industry. Going by the past experiences, foreign participation is
expected to be good. Promotion drives for attracting delegations

- Direct foreign investment is mainly automatic
- Import of process equipment, technology and services are freely
allowed
- Custom duties have dropped to 10-25% with further reductions
likely by 2005
Powered by Industry Support
As India’s No. 1 event for the chemical and process engineering
and equipment industry, CHEMTECH, over the years, has been enjoying
the support of premier industry and government bodies, like the
