Parker
guide details rapid-assembly, 15,000 PSI tube fitting components
Posted: 14 April 2004
Parker Instrumentation has published a selection guide to fluid
instrumentation components featuring rapid-assembly MPI tube fittings
capable of operational pressures up to 15,000 PSI / 1034 bar.
MPI fittings employ the familiar, industry-standard compression
assembly technique. This allows installation in seconds by simply
tightening a nut — eliminating the time-consuming 'coning
and threading' connection techniques that are usually required when
assembling higher pressure instrumentation systems.
Parker's new 40-page guide provides designers with an easy-to-use
product guide to the complete range of MPI tube fitting shapes and
sizes, as well as a range of complementary instrumentation valves
and regulators available with MPI tube fitting connections.
Visual indexes simplify part selection. The publication also includes
an introduction to this innovative fitting technology, plus assembly
and gaugeability instructions.
