Siemens Computers’ new PRIMERGY RX600 and TX 600 servers to
boost performance

Powered by new Intel Xeon multiprocessor technology, the
new servers deliver clock rates of up to 3GHz
Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading international IT company,
is set to launch advanced versions of the PRIMERY RX600 and TX 600
servers that directly boost performance by up to 41 per cent, powered
by new Intel Xeon multiprocessor technology (MP), delivering clock
rates of up to 3 GHz. These servers can be equipped with as many
as four processors.
The doubling of third level cache to 2 or 4 MB, as well as the
400 MHz front side bus, guarantee higher performance bandwidths
perfectly suited to current and future requirements.

levels. Fujitsu Siemens Computers has achieved a breakthrough in
this field with the development of the RX600 and TX600 servers belonging
to the PRIMERGY family. The increased performance is due to the
Intel Xeon MP processors that have a long history as a reliable
basis for high-end servers used in demanding company scenarios with
standard Intel CPU architectures,” said Colin Britto, Sales

The new Intel-based PRIMERGY TX600 tower servers ensure top performance.
They are designed primarily for central tasks, such as database
servers, data warehouses, enterprise resource planning and directory
or cache services.
The PRIMERGY RX600 rack-optimized servers are ideal as reliable
application servers as well as a high-performance database servers.
