Pipeline Magazine Classic Golf Tournament

Posted: 19 May 2004

As part of Energy Week 2004 Pipeline Magazine will be staging the first Pipeline Magazine Classic Golf Tournament. This golf classic concludes the activities surrounding Energy week 2004 and promises to be a great finale.

In keeping with the Oil Barons Ball theme this 18-hole team Texas Scramble is scheduled to take place at the Arabian Ranches Golf Course on Thursday 25th November 2004.

A social yet competitive format of a Team Texas Scramble will allow the winning team to be crowned the 1st Pipeline Magazine Golfing Champions.

Companies may enter as a team of four amateur players and will play under their chosen team name - the format of Texas scramble allows all four players to tee off, the team then elects their preferred tee shot and once more all players will play their second shot from this spot - the process of choosing the best shot each time is continued until the ball is holed. Teams will receive 10 per cent of the combined handicaps.

The day will begin with a welcome coffee check in and distribution of goody bags, all players will then proceed to the driving range for a complimentary clinic prior to the tournaments shot gun start. Upon completion of play players and their partners will join Pipeline Magazine in a sumptuous BBQ buffet followed by the events prize giving ceremony.

Team entry 3000dhs for the team.
