The
EIC opens in Dubai

The Energy Industries Council is the largest body of its kind in
the UK serving the energy industries, the members of which range
from engineering contractors, to manufacturers and suppliers.
As a long established, proactive, pragmatic, marketing based organisation
which succeeds in attracting business opportunities around the world
for its members, the London based EIC has opened offices in Houston,
Singapore, Rio De Janeiro and now Dubai.
It has been firmly recognised for some time that the Middle East
region alone can boast more then 60 per cent of the world’s
proven reserves of oil as well as more than 35 per cent of known
gas deposits which, given the ever increasing diminishing returns
from other mature parts of the world for these natural resources,
makes the region a prime target area to exploit the innumerable
business opportunities that will continue to present themselves
to UK based companies both now and in the future.
Having regard to this exceptional high level of activity, added
to the current development of the nearby Caspian Region as well,
it makes very good sense and unique timing for the Energy Industries
Council to establish an office to service the area on behalf of
its members.
Furthermore, as a choice of location, Dubai becomes a natural preference
with its advanced level of available modern infrastructure and communications
as well as being widely recognized as the region’s main travel
hub.
Each economy throughout the region, although structured on the
same foundation of oil and gas based revenues, can nevertheless
remain culturally unique, thus making the task of conducting successful
business in the various areas, that much more of a challenge.
The new EIC office is able to provide a professional level of guidance
and support in this region thus offering valuable assistance so
that a high degree of success can be enjoyed in this truly exciting
process.
