Paradigm
to display innovative solutions and services case studies at
EAGE 2004
Posted: 07 June 2004
All demos will run on the epos 3.0 integrated framework, for unprecedented
workflow efficiency
Paris, France – June 7, 2004: At the EAGE 2004 show in Paris,
Paradigm, the premier provider of advanced petroleum geoscience
and drilling technology to the oil and gas exploration and production
industry, will be presenting the many productivity innovations
offered in its new Synchronized Release, running on the epos 3.0
data management and interoperability integration framework. The
epos
3.0 release, currently shipping to Paradigm offices worldwide,
offers significant productivity enhancements through comprehensive
data and product integration, and visualization in one unified
3D canvas.
All of the demos at the Paradigm booth will run on the epos 3.0
integration framework, which enables users to easily perform entire
E&P workflows in a single environment. Of particular interest
is the epos-enabled eXtra Value product line, which goes beyond
volume-based interpretation and offers new workflow efficiencies
in a fully 3D environment. Multi-disciplinary workflows will be
featured, showing the seamless integration between Paradigm’s
entire line of processing and imaging, interpretation and visualization,
reservoir characterization, petrophysics and well planning solutions.
The Paradigm Services Group, one of the world’s leading
geoscience services providers following its acquisition of the
Reservoir Technologies Division of Core Labs, will have its own
corner of the booth, where it will present Case Studies that highlight
some of its global E&P successes.
All the demos at the Paradigm booth will run on Linux-based
machines, with visualization demonstrations running on a 64-bit
Linux workstation. As part of Paradigm’s ongoing collaboration
with leading hardware providers, including SGI, Sun,
HP and IBM, Paradigm epos 3.0-based products are available
on a broad range of high-performance, shared and distributed memory
computing platforms, integrating leading-edge, 64-bit CPUs, such
as Intel Itanium 2 and AMD Opteron.
Steve Hunt, Managing Director of Paradigm EAME, said, “We
are very excited about this year’s EAGE, since our comprehensive
epos 3.0-based package is on its way to our regional offices, and
all of the solutions being shown at the booth are available now
to our customers. We have much to offer, both through our comprehensive
workflow integration and the many productivity-enhancing add-on
modules included in the epos 3.0 release, which are unmatched in
the industry. Visitors to our demos will easily understand the
exciting implications of these developments on their personal productivity.”
Customers and colleagues are invited to visit the Paradigm booth
(#412) throughout the show, which runs from June 7-10.
