Fujitsu Siemens Computers sponsors Microsoft “Middle East Partner Annual Event”

350 of Microsoft regional partners participated in the annual event in Egypt recently
Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC), the leading international IT Company, was the platinum sponsor of the Microsoft Middle East Partner Event that was held at Sharm Al Sheikh, Egypt , recently. Over 350 regional partners of Microsoft were taking part in the three-day event.
“The annual Microsoft Middle East Partner Event” has grown in size, scale and significance. It is a tribute to the standing Microsoft enjoys as the key driver of the IT industry in the region,” said Ahmed Khalil, Regional Manager Middle East, Fujitsu Siemens Computers. “The event assembled representatives from all major hardware players and partners under the Microsoft umbrella to take stock of IT developments in the region. The Microsoft Middle East Partners Event has been expanded this year to include partners that sell in different sectors covering enterprise, small and medium as well as retail, government, PC initiatives, business solution partners, systems integrators and distributors. Additionally, the event has expanded to include partners from Malta , Cyprus , Jordan , Lebanon and Dubai .
“Fujitsu Siemens Computers has made significant inroads in the Middle East markets through its portfolio of state of the art products, emerging as one of the top five IT vendors in just three years of operations in the region,” added Khalil. “The region's IT potential is just beginning to be explored. The “Microsoft Middle East Partner Annual Event” featured an awards presentation ceremony for Microsoft Partners in various categories. There were partner briefings on current programmes. Fujitsu Siemens Computers demonstrated some of its products at the Partners Day on May 29. The event was basically designed as a fun event with activities like team building, problem solving sessions and social gatherings.
