Torch Offshore Shallow Water Management Promotion

Torch Offshore, Inc. announced Ken Brooks has been promoted to General Manager - Shallow Water. Mr. Brooks has been with the Company since July 2000 in various capacities in the Shallow Water division.
In addition, Willie Bergeron has resigned as Chief Operating Officer to pursue other interests. Mr. Bergeron will be available as a consultant to the Company on a day-rate basis.
Lyle G. Stockstill, Torch Offshore, Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We regret the departure of Willie Bergeron from our management team, but we are confident in the abilities of Ken Brooks to keep our shallow water fleet performing effectively."
