Radio Holland expands Middle East branch

Radio Holland Group of the Netherlands, have completed 20 Years of serving the Middle East. Radio Holland Middle East (RHME), a branch of the group, was set up in 1984 in Sharjah as the head office of the Middle East region.
Radio Holland was founded in 1916 by major Dutch shipowners to provide technical services, electronic equipment and Radio Officers to ocean going vessels.
Today, with 50 offices world-wide, the Group of companies are strategically located along all major shipping routes, specialised in the supply, installation and service of maritime electronics.
Radio Holland Group represents some of the leading manufacturers and suppliers in the marine electronics industry, including Furuno, Jotron, Motorola, Marima tech, Silva, Skanti, Seatel, RH Connect etc. Radio Holland Middle East is the exclusive distributor of Furuno products in the UAE, Oman and Qatar and also Motorola radios in the UAE. RHME serves customers of all size – global and local – in the offshore industry, deep sea, yachting and fishing, dredging and survey operators.
RHME’s expertise also extends to land-based radio, microwave and satellite communications equipment and services.
With a view to meet the growing expansion needs and as part of the Group’s commitment to quality service, the Middle East branch moved to new larger office premises at the Al Buhairah Insurance Tower, Buhairah Corniche Road, Sharjah during the beginning of June 2004.
To celebrate this occasion along with the 20-Year service milestone, an Official Reception was held on Wednesday 16th June 2004.
David Slager, Chairman of the Board and CEO, Radio Holland Group graced the occasion as distinguished speaker, which was also attended by a number of local dignitaries.
