Facilitators UK: New appointments and business growth

Performance improvement consultancy Facilitators UK has announced the appointment of four key personnel and created a new business portfolio as part of a planned programme of expansion.

Simon Sawers has been appointed as a new partner to the company, while Lewis Woollett and John Davidson are to join as associate partners to drive Facilitators UK¹s new information and knowledge management portfolio.

Iain Menmuir, who has also been appointed as an associate partner, will head the Facilitators UK new office in Edinburgh and look to develop expansion of the Facilitators UK model into the English market.

Simon Sawers, a specialist in change management and strategic human resources, takes responsibility for the HR portfolio at Facilitators UK, bringing an operational background and extensive overseas experience.

A Chartered Engineer with an MSc in change management, he is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, the Energy Institute and an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Simon participated in the oil and gas industry task force and was a key figure in establishing First Point Assessment Ltd, where he was a director for three years. He joins Facilitators UK having successfully established his own consultancy, Peoplecoms Business Change Ltd.

John Davidson moves to Facilitators UK from knowledge management company Third Ear and specialises in information technology strategy and knowledge management, while Lewis Woollett has more than 15 years¹ senior management experience, including 10 years at board level. Over the past 10 years Lewis has worked on a pan-European basis for US multinational organisations and has extensive experience in senior general, financial and IT management roles as well as major joint venture projects, strategic and business planning and mergers and acquisitions.

Iain Menmuir has an extensive business development and broad consultancy background, focusing on improving team performance. He has worked in a variety of engineering companies in the technology and life science sector.
