New stocking service for Parker Instrumentation in Nigeria
Posted: 15 July 2004
Parker Instrumentation's Nigerian distributor Bell Oil & Gas Ltd is extending its service to include stocks for immediate delivery. A range of commonly-required instrumentation compression tube fittings and valves will now be held at the company's Port Harcourt operations centre to support engineering projects, and maintenance requirements.
"This investment supports our growing business with the upstream and downstream Nigerian oil and gas industry", says Richard Roebuck, Parker Instrumentation's Marketing Director. "In conjunction with the engineering services that Bell Oil & Gas offers, it will also help to meet the growing demand in this market for indigenous added-value services such as instrumentation assembly and installation".
Bell Oil & Gas is an indigenous Nigerian company with operations in instrumentation, surface preparation and protection, pipeline integrity management and the supply and installation of glassfibre reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipe systems. With the increasing trend in Nigeria to source from indigenous companies, Bell Oil & Gas' wide-ranging capability positions it well to meet the demand from engineering, procurement and construction houses for added-value services such as instrumentation installation and commissioning, and training.
The instrumentation segment of Bell Oil & Gas' business supplies both products and engineering services to the upstream and downstream industry in West Africa, from operational locations in Port Harcourt and Lagos, Nigeria, and its representative office in London.
