Petrofac awarded operations and maintenance contract with Total

Petrofac Facilities Management, the leading service provider, has secured a contract to provide operations and maintenance services to Total E&P UK ’s Alwyn and Dunbar facilities.
The contract, worth £40m, is for a five-year period and is a Global Site Operations Contract (GSOC) in support of the Alwyn and Dunbar field operations, involving in excess of 120 personnel.
The Alwyn field, located 440km northeast of Aberdeen, has two platforms - Alwyn North 'A' is the drilling and accommodation platform and Alwyn North 'B' is the processing and treatment platform. The Dunbar platform is located 22km south of the Alwyn North platform.
