GTSC Training Centre to promote simulators at ADIPEC 2004

Mussaffah, Abu Dhabi headquartered Gulf Technical and Safety Training Centre (GTSC) will be sharing the Al Mansoori stand and exhibiting its services as the premier training centre in the Middle East, providing both technical and safety training.
The company will pursue its proactive campaign to introduce its technical simulators for training. “We have invested heavily in actual size rig floor simulators and receive very positive comments from trainees who have participated in courses using the simulators,” says Chris White, Business Development Manager of GTSC. “Such simulators give users the opportunity to deal with real time drilling scenarios in a secure learning environment. This training can only make employees more competent and ultimately an operation more efficient.”
The Centre conducts over 200 courses in technical training, safety, fire fighting/ STCW 95, offshore survival, first aid, defensive driving and risk management. Courses are conducted to satisfy the legislative requirement of the oil and gas industry as well as to deliver a level of competency to employees.
GTSC’s core business is within the Middle East with such clients as Adma-Opco, Adco, Adnoc, Zadco, Gasco, NDC, BP, Shell, Total, Bunduq, Al Mansoori, Halliburton and Schlumberger.
GTSC and Al Mansoori, says White, have supported ADIPEC in the past and view the exhibition as the perfect forum to display their full service and product portfolio, allowing them to interact with existing clients as well as developing new business relationships. “Commercial value is achieved by installing trust, confidence and reliability in your clients – our commitment to the show starts the ball rolling,” concludes White.
