Mycom Compression & refrigeration packages for O&G

Mayekawa Manufacturing Group/Mycom is one of the leading manufacturers of oil flooded screw compressor solutions for process gas compression and process refrigeration applications. Established in Japan in 1924, the company now operates in 50 overseas locations and has over 3000 employees worldwide. The company’s Middle East office in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai was opened in October 2002.
Mycom’s heavy duty hydrocarbon gas compressors and process refrigeration packages are widely used onshore and offshore in oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
Ongoing projects in the Middle East include installation of a chilled water package for Dolphin Energy, hydrocarbon gas compression at Sohar Refinery, tank vapour recovery for Occidental of Oman, hydrocarbon compression for JUPC 1&2 and ammonia BOG liquefaction in the SAFCO- 4 plant.
Some of the other clients for which work was undertaken include Saudi Aramco, Sabic, KOC and KNPC, QP and Qapco, Adnoc, Pars Oil & Gas Company and NPC.
Mycom’s screw compressor applications under refrigeration include gas stream dehydration/water removal, gas stream cooling, hydrocarbon product recovery and utility refrigeration (chillers).
Under compression the applications include gas gathering, hydrocarbon vapour recovery, fuel gas compression, boil off gas compression, natural gas compression, hydrogen and helium gas compression and vent gas recovery.
