HP scoops nine Windows awards

HP was the star of the show recently at the annual Windows Middle East Awards, winning eight awards including the prestigious 'IT Business Manager of the Year'. The 'IT Business Manager of the Year' Award was granted to Hazem M. Bazan, Solutions Partner Organisation Manager, HP Middle East. HP also won the 'Best Server' award as well as 'Best Notebook - Desktop Replacement - SMB'for the HP Pavilion Zd7050EA, and 'Best Business Desktop - SMB' for its HP Compaq dx2000, a unit 'Made in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia' at HP's very own assembly plant. HP Middle East won the 'IT Company of the Year' award, in recognition of the outstanding performance of the Imaging and Printing Group. HP also won the 'Best Colour LaserJet' award for its HP LaserJet 3500 series, the 'Best Multifunctional Device - Inkjet' for its HP PSC 2510 series and the HP R707 for the 'Best Digital Camera' award. On the server side, HP won the 'Best Server' award for the HP Proliant ML370 portfolio.
