TMK Increased output in 2004 period

In October the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) has shipped to its consumers about 198,000 t of various pipes. The Company enterprises have smelted more than 139,000 t of steel. The total shipment of pipes in 10 months of the current year has amounted to 2,080,000 t and that exceeds the achievement of the same period in 2003 by 2%. Steel production in the Company from the start of the year has arrived to 1,540,000 t, which is by 10% more than in 10 months of the last year.
The TMK Company incorporates the Volzhsky Pipe Plant, Sinarsky Pipe Works, Seversky Pipe Works and the Taganrog Metallurgical Works.
The TMK is a leading manufacturer of pipe products in Russia . The company’s plants produce more than 42% of Russian pipes of various assortment, including some 60% of Russian pipes used in the oil and gas complex.
