Excellence In Energy Awards 2004 Postponement of Event

The fourth 'Excellence In Energy' awards, the Middle East’s annual energy industry 'Oscars', and the accompanying Oil Barons Ball, organised by Pipeline Magazine, have been postponed until mid-December in deference to the mourning period for Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The dual event, which was to be been held at the Nad Al Sheba Golf & Racing Club on November 24, will now take place on December 15.
The event is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai and Chairman of the Emirates Group.
The location of the event will remain the same, as will be the timing - doors open at 7:00pm - and tickets already purchased will remain valid.
All involved in the events, including the sponsors and guests, believe the postponement is necessary as a mark of respect from the regional oil and gas industry,” said Eileen Michael , Publisher, Pipeline Magazine.
