Posted: 24 November 2004
Halliburton has opened a new facility in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The 35-acre, 250,000- square-foot facility, will enable Halliburton to consolidate its local operations and allow for future growth as the energy services business continues to increase in southwest Wyoming.
The company’s original Rock Springs facility opened in 1948.
“Making the right planning decisions can drive the overall success of Halliburton's operations,” said John Gibson, president, Halliburton's Energy Services Group. “This new facility will provide the necessary support as we continue to expand our operations and employee base in this region, as well as a clear indication of Halliburton's long-term commitment to Wyoming.”
Some 525 employees and all of Halliburton Energy Services’ product service lines will be operating out of the new facility. Halliburton is the largest private employer in the area.
