Posted: 19 January 2005
Omanexpo, organisers of the energy industry's biennial 'Oil & Gas West Asia' (OGWA) said that the fifth edition of the event will be held in Muscat in April 2006.
According to C J Paul, general manager of Omanexpo, major development plans by oil economies are in the pipeline in this region, along with a series of multi-million dollar new energy projects in Oman . This enormous new level of Omani and regional investment - together with the call for a close networking of oil players - is the basis of our invitation to energy companies to participate in Oil and Gas West Asia 2006 Exhibition and Conference, to be held from April 10-12, 2006 .
Further to the show's success in 2004, a large number of leading Omani companies have already shown interest in participation next year. Major international exhibitor pavilions are also in the process of formation, with the support of leading Asian and Westem embassies in the Sultanate.
r Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Romhi, Oman 's minister of oil and gas, has endorsed the OGWA 2006 Exhibition and Conference. OGWA 2006 will be held, under the auspices of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
