Corybas 1 Gas Exploration And Appraisal Well Update 2

ARC Energy Limited advises that the operation at 06:00 hours WST at the gas exploration and appraisal well Corybas 1, operated by ARC and located in the onshore Perth Basin Production Licence L2, was circulating prior to pulling out of the hole to run casing, at a measured depth of 2387m. Since the last report, 244mm casing has been set at 809 metres and the section from 809 metres to 2387 metres has been drilled in 216mm hole.
The surface location of the well is approximately 14 kilometres east northeast of the township of Dongara and 250 metres measured depth and it is expected to take 26 days to drill on a dry hole basis.
Preliminary co-ordinates for the surface drilling location are as follows:-
Latitude: 29 0 12' 2.165"S
Longitude: 115 0 03' 12.443"E
Participants in L1 and L2 (excuding Dongara, Mondarra and Yardarino fields) and Corybas 1 are:
- ARC Energy Limited - 50% (Operator)
- Origin Energy Development Pty Ltd - 50% (a wholly owned subsidiary of Origin Energy Limited)
