Expro Appoints New President In Americas

Leading oilfield service company Expro International Group PLC ("Expro Group" or "Expro") has appointed Jeff Skelly as President of Expro Americas Inc.
A graduate in civil and ocean engineering, Skelly (47) will be responsible for managing the Group’s activities in North and South America from its Region headquarters at Westlake Park Blvd , Houston , Texas . Skelly will focus on enhancing Expro’s market leading position in tubing conveyed perforating, cased hole and subsea services.
With 25 years of oilfield experience in both the US and international markets, Skelly joins Expro from Halliburton Energy Services where he worked as regional general manager for the Middle East and Caspian region and then as global manufacturing operations manager in Houston. Skelly also worked at Schlumberger Ltd for 15 years, gaining wireline and testing experience onshore USA , in the Gulf of Mexico , the North Sea and the Middle East .
Speaking about his new role, Skelly said: “Expro is a top tier player in the global service industry. I am joining the company at an exciting time following the launch of innovative technologies such as the CaTS cableless telemetry system, the Excape perforating technology and the SmarTract downhole tractor. My aim is to build Expro’s position and set new benchmarks in levels of client service.”
Expro’s chief operating officer, Mike Martindale, said: “We have secured an individual with strong qualities and a vast knowledge of the industry. Jeff’s appointment positively complements the management team and he will play a crucial role in driving Expro forward as we enter a new era in the Americas .”
