Fifth Energy award hosted by Pipeline, to be in Doha

The fifth Excellence in Energy Award hosted by Pipeline Magazine will be held on the 22 nd of November at the Doha Golf Club. Under the patronage of Qatari Oil Minister H.E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, the awards will be, like always, decided by the readers of the magazine.
Consistent recognition and appreciation of excellence in the Oil and Gas industry has made the Excellence in Energy awards be termed as the Oil Oscars in recent years.
"With oil and gas only assuming more prominence in Qatar , it is only appropriate that this premiere event is held in Qatar this year,” said Eileen Michael, publisher, Pipeline Magazine.
Sheikh Ahmed, patron of Oil Baron’s Ball for second consecutive year
The Oil Baron’s Ball, which attracts the crème-de-la crème of the Oil and gas industry, has once again won the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Dubai and the Chairman of the Emirates Group.
The event that has attracted more than 2000 key industry personnel and decision makers is hosted by Pipeline in Dubai . The evening promises to be a sparkling extravaganza featuring live music and laser light shows. It is supported by International Association of drilling Contractors (IADC), Project Management Institute (PMI), RECSO and its members and the Energy Industry Council (EIC).
