BJ Services Awarded Well Services Contract For Espoir Development By Cnr International Cote D'ivoire

BJ Services Company announced that its Well Services Division for the Europe and Africa Region has been awarded a contract by CNR International Cote D'Ivoire (SARL). BJ Services is providing cementing and pumping services on CNR’s East and West Espoir development offshore Cote D'Ivoire .
Already, BJ has commenced work on the new contract, which will require approximately 1,000 days to complete. Cementing services will be carried out by BJ on the Al Baraka 1 tender-assisted drilling barge on the East and West wellhead towers.
Since spring 2001, BJ Services has carried out all cementing and pumping operations on the Espoir development in Cote D'Ivoire for CNR, as well as a variety of coiled tubing operations, perforating and logging services. In addition to the Al Baraka, BJ has operated from the Transocean Richardson and the Transocean 709 semisubmersible to service CNR’s Baobab development and Cote d'Ivoire exploration activities. To carry out these operations, BJ will continue to provide engineering, operational and administrative support with its Well Services personnel at the company's base in Abidjan , Cote D'Ivoire .
