Ross Pillari, President of BP America, in his arrival to Texas , made the following statement.
“I am here today to express BP’s deep regret over yesterday’s accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who died and with those from the workforce and the community who were injured.
Throughout the day and the weeks to come we will continue to cooperate with all local, state and federal authorities. We will also commit our full corporate resources to investigating the cause of the accident.
I am here to support our staff, the community and our contractors as they continue to work to assist families and the community.”
