Tronic Wins Prestigious Engineering Award

Tronic Ltd, market leading supplier of subsea electrical connectors and a subsidiary of oilfield services provider Expro International Group PLC, is celebrating receiving the Hart’s E&P Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation 2005, for its 36kV high power electrical subsea ‘wet mate’ connector system.
The award will be presented to Tronic at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston , 2-5 May and is the fourth award success to be celebrated by the Expro Group in just four months. The Cableless Telemetry System (CaTS™) and the 15K Subsea Safety System were honoured in OTC’s new technology programme. CaTS™ notched further success by scooping the World Oil best completions solution award in November 2004.
