Posted: 11 April 2005
Saudi Arabia may produce a third more crude in future years to avert shortages and lower prices, reported Reuters. It can currently pump 11m bpd, which could go to 15m bpd any time in the next 15 years, according to Oil Minister Ali Al Naimi. The Kingdom has plans to increase output by 14 per cent to 12.5m bpd within four years.
