The service will focus on the contractual needs of independent oil and gas producers, contractors, service companies and product suppliers to the energy sector.
The new service from Dubai-based HFI was launched following the recent formation of strategic alliances with Scottish legal firm Ledingham Chalmers and Jakarta based law firm MMIK.

“Our alliances with Ledingham Chalmers in Scotland and MMIK in Indonesia , combined with our own experts in Dubai , give our clients access to a multi-national pool of legal consultants who can work on oil and gas contracts governed by UK , US and Australian law and a wide range of other jurisdictions.”
Fraser said the combined expertise available in Aberdeen , Dubai and Jakarta creates a triangle of opportunity for energy sector firms who are seeking new openings in the global oil and gas industry.
He added: “This new legal services model combines legal resources based in Scotland , the UAE and Indonesia and is totally focussed on clients needs and objectives.”
