Schlumberger Acquires Diamould Ltd

Enhanced capabilities to deliver comprehensive connector solutions for subsea and downhole completion applications
Schlumberger today announced it has acquired the assets of Diamould Ltd, an oil and gas industry firm specializing in electrical, hydraulic and fiber-optic connector solutions, based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, UK.
“The increasing application of intelligent completion systems is driving demand for reliable electrical, hydraulic and fiber-optic connectors, making this an important step for Schlumberger as it will allow us to better serve the needs of our clients. Diamould, which employs more than 70 staff, designs and manufactures all types of connectors from its facility in the UK, which will be established as a center of excellence for all connector requirements. Schlumberger will provide a worldwide network of sales and marketing personnel in the field to support the sales and services of the expanding Diamould product line.

Diamould will continue to supply its innovative products to its existing customer base, as well as new customers and to the rest of the industry.
