Winners of the 8th ADNOC HSE Awards announced

The 8th Annual ADNOC Health, Safety and Environment awards, held last night, May 22 in Abu Dhabi, mark its largest since the start of the programme in 1997.
The 2004 HSE awards saw a 40 per cent increase in participation over 2003, with 183 submissions received from 16 companies.
The five major categories were Health, Safety, Environment, HSE performance and Innovation. In addition to the five winning projects and five runners-up of the five category award, this year saw the introduction of Special Recognition Awards extended to companies whose submissions attracted special attention for their impressive record in various HSE fields.
