UAE awards Bechtel $1.2billion gas project

The UAE’s Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (Gasco) has awarded Bechtel a $1.2 billion contract for the construction of the second phase of its Asab gas project, the state's main natural gas firm said.
Gasco said that the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the project, which will treat 800 million standard cubic feet a day of gas, was awarded on July 12.
