Three Yemen blocks for Oil Search

Papua New Guinea based Oil Search has been awarded three new blocks in Yemen. It was awarded two blocks with partners Kufpec ( Aden), Voyager Energy and Adelphi Energy. It is also awaiting ratification of a production sharing agreement over another block awarded to it and and partner Petoil.
Two of the blocks awarded to Oil Search and its partners are in the in the eastern sector of the onshore Shabwah Basin and the other in the Masila Basin . Oil Search expects to commence exploration work towards the end of the year.
