Cementing and Pumping Services to be carried out on Continental Shelf - Norway
BJ Services Company has announced that its Well Services Division for Europe and Africa has entered into a frame agreement to provide cementing and pumping services for Norsk Hydro Pr oduksjon AS . BJ Services will carry out these services for a number of Norsk Hydro assets located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, including production and drilling installations Oseberg C and Brage, and drilling rigs Deepsea Trym and Stena Dee.
Already, BJ has commenced services on Oseberg C, Brage, Deepsea Trym and Stena Dee in water depths to 1000 feet. BJ Services is providing necessary personnel and equipment from its bases in Bergen and Tananger , Norway . The three-year frame agreement includes three two-year options to renew. The new agreement represents a continuation of cementing and pumping services for BJ, which has been providing these services on these assets for Norsk Hydro under a previous five-year contract.
