Atwood Oceanics has been awarded a two-year contract for the Atwood Hunter semi-submersible plus two six-month options by Woodside Energy for international operations. The contract provides for an operating day rate ranging from $240,000 to $245,000. The contract will commence on the rig completing its current contract commitments with Burullus Gas, offshore Egypt , in April to May 2006.
