Oman Seeks Chinese E&P firms

Trade between Oman and China has reached 4.5 billion US dollars in 2004, ranking the third among the Arabic countries. Oman has also become the largest exporter of oil products to China in 2004.
Oman is now seeking further cooperation with Chinese firms in oil and gas exploration, production, and petrochemical, Omani Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced.
The Chamber said during the recent China-Oman trade fair held in Beijing, several delegations to China for business talks were organised and a number of trade contracts were signed.
At present, more than 30 Chinese companies have launched their business in Oman .
