Business Machines Receives ‘Top Business Partner Award’
at Annual IBM Kick-Off Meeting

IBM Middle East presented the ‘Top Business Partner’
award to Gulf Business Machines, IBM’s general marketing and
services representative in the Gulf, as a token of appreciation
for its achievements in 2002.
The award ceremony was held at IBM’s annual kick-off meeting,
which gathers its staff and top Middle East business partners to
brief them on IBM’s vision and strategies for 2003, to review
key achievements across all of its business divisions during the
previous year, including hardware, software and services.
This event is also used to identify the main business opportunities
in the coming year, including driving key technology issues such
as outsourcing, “business on demand” and open source
technologies based on open standards.
