New
Philips bSure Brilliance multimedia projectors boast up to 2500 ANSI
lumen Posted: 29 April 2003
Philips is expanding its award-winning bSure projector range with
the launch of two high specification Brilliance versions; bSure
XG2 and SV2 Brilliance. With a brightness of 2500 and 2200 ANSI
lumen, they are the brightest in their class. This makes them the
first choice for large corporations and education institutions that
need a powerful projector they can rely on.
Brilliant picture performance
The bSure Brilliance range has 500-700 ANSI lumens more than the
other projectors of the bSure 2 series. These earlier introduced
projectors have been developed specifically for the education market
and small/medium-sized businesses. The extra brightness of the new
Philips bSure Brilliance series makes them suitable for even more
applications. They can be used in the largest meeting rooms with
long projection distances, without the need to close the blinds.
Or in large classrooms or lecture halls that can’t be darkened
easily, so students can make notes without straining to see in the
dark.
Accommodating a variety of media inputs, the bSure Brilliance series
boasts outstanding data and video signal quality. For example, direct
progressive and component input makes these projectors the perfect
solution for applications that demand high image integrity, such
as DVD and HDTV. This input is the standard for all digital sources
and guarantees the best picture possible without additional cables.
The Philips bSure Brilliance series’ excellent picture quality
is enhanced still further by ColourTracking™, which automatically
adjusts image settings to achieve natural colours or maximum brightness.
It ensures that every aspect of a presentation – from the
smallest detail right up to the presenter’s main message –
always come across crystal clear. What’s more, even with this
extremely high brightness, projectors are still virtually silent.
Complete convenience
Hassle-free and efficient, the new Philips bSure Brilliance projectors
are ideal for teachers and presenters who have never used a projector
before. Their Plug & Play connectivity, intuitive one-touch
operations and straightforward on-screen menus make them very straightforward
to use.
PS/2 mouse loop through lets the presenter control the mouse cursor
via the remote control without USB. Presenters also don’t
have to turn their back on their audience to see the image they’re
presenting, thanks to the continuous monitor loop through feature.
The FitScreen Solution keeps whiteboard and projection in sync by
making sure that the projection maintains the 4:3 ratio and always
fits perfectly in the screen. All of this means that less A/V support
is needed, saving both time and money.
New features
The Philips bSure Brilliance series come with some additional features
to perfectly suit the corporate markets:
- A remote control with laser-pointer as standard accessory.
- YourLogo enables a company’s brand or corporate identity
to replace the standard login screen whenever the projector is
turned on. It can be any logo, picture or text imaginable. It’s
also quick and simple to change it to match different presentations,
companies, events or presenters. Professional attention to detail
like this can make a big impression in important business presentations
or lectures.
- USB including audio: This is really convenient for presentations
with sound or for Internet sound applications.
- A comfortable softbag for maximum protection packed as standard
accessory for the bSure Brilliance models.
Sophisticated anti-theft precautions
Theft is a big risk in many schools, colleges and businesses. That’s
why Eevery Philips bSure Brilliance projector is fitted with SecurityMax.
This state-of-the-art anti-theft system includes a customisable,
non-erasable start-up text to identify the owner, and a special
shutdown timer, both of which will discourage thieves stealing it.
As a further deterrent, there’s also the option of fitting
a Kensington lock to each projector.
Reliability backed by 3-year warranty
Every aspect of their stylish design – which now comes in
precision silver – emphasises reliability and robustness.
The new bSure Brilliance Series builds on Philips’ tradition
of offering advanced display functionality in an affordable and
low-maintenance package.
