Posted: 2 May 2003
Preparations for the Arabian Travel market (ATM), the premier inbound
and outbound travel and tourism event dedicated to the Middle East
region, are picking up pace at the Dubai World Trade Centre’s
(DWTC’s) Airport Expo, Dubai, with exhibitors giving finishing
touches to their stands.
ATM which will be held from May 6th to 9th, attracts participants
from airlines, car rental companies, conference/incentive/meeting
venues, cruise line/ferry companies, ground handlers, health spas
and resorts, hotels/accommodation providers, Internet support services,
reservation systems, specialist interest holidays organisers, technology
and telecommunications companies, tourist boards/associations, tour
operators, transport: air, road, rail, shipping, travel agencies
and other travel-related services.
“ATM will provide the ideal stage for us to bring co-participants,
trade visitors and the regional and international media covering
the event, up to date with the developments of this new world-class
facility to be managed by us,” said DWTC Director General,
Mubarak bin Fahad.
The DWTC, which will be strengthening Dubai’s presence at
the event by participating as part of the Department of Tourism
and Commerce Marketing’s stand at ATM, will be showcasing
its state-of-the-art Dubai International Convention Centre at the
meet.
