DWTC Novotel World Trade Centre Hotel unique deal

Posted: 6 May 2003

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) announced that the Novotel World Trade Centre Hotel set for a July opening would add to the allure of the complex by providing a unique service.

The new property will extend a value-added benefit for the travellers offering free stay for two children less than 16 years (sharing the parent’s room) as a Novotel Worldwide standard.

“While other hotels normally, extend this service only to children under 12 and only during off season to lure customers, at the Novotel World Trade Centre Hotel, it will be the norm throughout the year and will raise the benchmarks in the Middle East by being the only property in the region to do so,” said DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin Fahad.

Mr. bin Fahad noted that competition in the travel industry was intense. “It is important to study the competition to be in a position to capitalise on opportunities and gain market share. Novotel World Trade Centre Hotel with its ideal location and value added services is well positioned to capture a fair share of the market,” he emphasised.

The 412-room Novotel World Trade Centre forms part of the DWTC and offers direct access to the concourse level that connects the exhibition halls to the convention centre.

Mr. Ignace Bauwens, General Manager, ACCOR Hotels World Trade Centre – Dubai added, ““In addition to two children under 16 staying free in the parents room, the Novotel also offers the option of booking a second connecting room at a discounted rate of 50 per cent. This option will ensure that no matter what the size of the family is, our guests will always have the option to bring their children along. The family is an integral part of our business and we believe in offering all the tools to ensure that all our guests needs are looked after”.

The ACCOR Hotels World Trade Centre, Dubai, (Novotel and Ibis) have the backing of over 150,00 associates in 140 countries. ACCOR is the European leader and one of the world’s largest groups in travel, tourism and corporate services.
