Revolutionary product for all companies seeking a solution
to heat stress management
Foretrade Import/Export FZC, the exclusive distributor of Arctic
Heat vests in the Middle East, yesterday announced the launch of
the entire Arctic Heat range in the UAE. The vests, which are worn
before, during or after activity or exercise, reduce the skin temperature
of the wearer by up to 17 degrees Celsius.
Originally designed for Football players in Australia, the vests
have gained an international reputation for giving a competitive
edge to workers and sportspeople alike. The England World Cup football
squad recently used the vests during their pre-tournament visit
to Dubai last year.
High profile industrial users of the vests include the Emirates
Can Company, Victorian State Police Air Wing (Australia) and a large
number of Australian Hospital surgeons.
Commenting on the launch of Arctic Heat, Mr. Ahmet Aksayli, Managing
Director of Foretrade FZC said: “We are delighted to announce
the launch of Arctic Heat in the UAE. The vests have been extensively
tested by a range of workers and sportspeople and have proved to
be highly effective in controlling the effects of heat on the body.”
“The vests can be used by a wide spectrum of people, especially
in a hot climate such as the Middle East. Everyone from Engineers
and Oil Workers to Laborers and Construction Professionals can benefit
from the cooling effects of the Artic Heat vest,” Mr. Aksayli
continued.
Using a highly developed viscous gel and Sportswool material, each
vest can remain cold for up to two hours, greatly increasing tolerance
to high temperature and strenuous exercise. The non-toxic, biodegradable
gel is activated by simply immersing the vest in water. The vest
is then placed in the freezer to cool.
The vests are available in a range of sizes and can be purchased
with an easy open zip or as a pullover.
Arctic Heat body cooling vests are currently available from a number
of outlets in the UAE.
