Key exploration asset now available online to geoscientists
worldwide
A2D Technologies, host of the largest online collection of multi-client
digital well log data, announced today the availability of the entire
offshore eastern Canada well log collection through its online database,
LOG-LINE Plus! at www.a2d.com.
For the first time, exploration professionals have flexible desktop
access to the entire dataset in this emerging play.
Logs from the 431 wells are available in multiple formats, ranging
from raster image logs, LAS logs and Workstation-Ready processed
logs. In addition to the standard suite of common logging runs,
special care was undertaken to locate and include mud and dipmeter
logs.
Where available, velocities and directional surveys are also in
the online collection.
" This expansion into the offshore east Canada market is part
of A2D's growth strategy to increase data coverage in areas outside

Since the 2002 acquisition of A2D by TGS-NOPEC Geophysical, A2D
has focused its international expansion of well log coverage in
areas that coincide with TGS-NOPEC seismic surveys.
This new addition of well logs from offshore eastern Canada complements
the multi-client seismic surveys in progress or completed off the
coasts of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. Bundled exploration
packages of seismic and well log data will be available to companies
looking to quickly enter the play or dramatically expand their stratigraphic
picture of the region.
