AnTech Ltd, a specialist engineering design and manufacturing
company serving the international upstream oil and gas industries,
recently announced Matthew Knight has been appointed Electronics
Design Engineer with the Special Engineering Projects Department.
In his new role, Knight will serve as Electronics Design Engineer

wiring for power or data transmission.
More specifically, he is dedicated to all related development work
on the RED-I, such as PCB design, analogue and digital circuit design.
Knight is primarily responsible for overseeing all AnTech circuit
design and PCB layout for the next generation of downhole tools.

software support for the company’s extensive range of downhole
products.
Knight, 35, has over 12 years experience in the electronics field.
He brings with him in-depth knowledge of electronics design, particularly
in PCB, analogue and digital circuit design. Prior to joining AnTech,
he worked in a variety of design engineering roles for AVX in Paignton,
England and JDS Uniphase (formerly SIFAM Fibre Optics) in Torquay,
England for five years where he served as Electronics Engineer responsible
for opto-electronic module design, test and production equipment,
software and firmware support. Based at the company’s headquarters
in Exeter, Knight reports to Clair Brown, Development Manager for
AnTech Ltd.
Knight earned an MEng. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
from the Imperial College, University of London in 1991. He is an
associate member of the City & Guilds Institute and a member
