Venture Sells LNG Spot Cargo

The North West Shelf LNG Sellers have signed a sale and purchase
agreement with Tokyo Electric Power Company for the supply of 125,000
m3 of LNG.
The LNG cargo was loaded on 31 May 2003 from the North West Shelf
Venture's LNG loading facilities in Whithnell Bay at Karratha in
Western Australia.
The cargo will be delivered to Tokyo Electric's LNG receiving terminal
in Japan. Tokyo Electric will be responsible for shipping.
The six equal participants in the North West Shelf Venture are:
Woodside Energy Ltd (operator); BHP Billiton (North West Shelf)
Pty Ltd; BP Developments Australia Pty Ltd; ChevronTexaco Australia
Pty Ltd; Japan Australia LNG (MIMI) Pty Ltd; and Shell Development
(Australia) Proprietary Limited.
