offer higher levels of customer service and productivity.
“Business leaders in the Gulf have quickly realized the cost
benefits of deploying a converged voice and data infrastructure,”
Ghazi Atallah, director of operations for Middle East and North
Africa. “These projects have already shown rapid returns on
the investment made and now, local industry is encouraged to investigate
new sources of revenue generating, competitive advantage. At the
Dubai Expo we will unveil mobility innovations such as the 7920
that will help businesses make the best use of their most expensive
assets, their staff.”
At the Dubai Expo, Cisco’s 7920 wireless IP phone will be
presented for the first time in the UAE. This easy to use wireless,
mobile IP phone provides employees in hospitals, warehouses, retail

the workplace at anytime.
The phone operates seamlessly over intelligent IP network infrastructure
with Cisco Aironet® Series IEEE 802.11b compliant wireless access

portfolio and highlight some of the new dangers to corporate networks
and information.
This will include robust security advice for wireless networking
and internal policies based on the SAFE blueprint. Delegates will

by providing telecommunications and Internet services throughout
their organization using wireless connectivity solutions.
Cisco will be supported at the Expo by its Channel Partners, CNS,
Emirates Computers, Emircom, GBM, Getronics, hp and NCR, who will
