Genavco supports popular BP brand in UAE
Visco 2000, the Gulf’s most popular international car oil
brand according to AC Nielsen’s latest report, has been actively
redifining its identify.
Following the launch of BP’s new brand identify three years
ago, Visco is actively rediscovering itself within the BP Helios
brand identity.
“As a lubricant Icon in the Middle East, Visco 2000 has undertook
a massive research campaign in an effort to maintain our leadership
in the future,” said Jeremy Bowen BP Middle East Chief representitive
and General Manager Lubricants.
BP Visco which has been in the market for over 50 years, has record
brand awareness in the UAE , Kuwait and Oman.
This is the first time in over 20 years that a leading motor oil
brand undertakes a full brand awareness research campaign.
Within the next weeks a task force with BP branded uniforms and
vehicles will be driving around the UAE, Kuwait and Oman to put
up new Visco branded materials in lubricant shops.
For the first time in this category some revolutionary see through
window stickers, in-door and out door branding devices will be used.
Commenting on BP new identity, Bowen said, “BP Visco is innovative

progressive in its restless search for improvement and, above all,
performance driven — determined to deliver on every commitment
made to all those with whom we do business.”
