Emdad LLC embodies a significant evolution in the Gulf’s
business scenario as a leading UAE National company representing
major manufacturers of the world.
The company has, over two decades of its existence, earned formidable
repute as the region’s vital source of support for the energy
and utilities sectors.
Its extensive experience, technological savvy and deep understanding
of the region have made Emdad a perfect and reliable partner for
business, both international and regional, to successfully establish
their activities in one of the most rapidly expanding markets.
Emdad’s futuristic vision has created strong partnerships
with leading international companies since the 80s, providing technology
solutions to the expanding needs of the energy sector.
This proactive vision is once again reiterated with the recent
agency agreement with Saudi Steel Pipe Company Ltd which was signed
on 24 June at the Saudi company’s head office in Dammam.
Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SSP) is recognised as the Kingdom’s
premier manufacturer of welded steel pipes and is the most prominent
producer of high frequency induction welded steel pipes fulfilling
the demands of the region’s oil and gas, construction and
other industries.
SSP is a joint venture between a group of leading Saudi businessmen
and Hu Steel Pipe Company of South Korea.
An ISO 9000 company, SSP ideally complements Emdad’s own
quality consciousness and benchmarks.
Emdad will be the sole agent in the UAE for SSP’s line of
API 5L line pipes and hot induction bending pipes for the oil and
gas industry.
“We, as a National business group, have always been keen
to build strategic, progressive business relationships within the
Arab world, and the GCC in particular” observes Hasan Ali
Darwish, Vice Chairman, Emdad LLC.
“Saudi Arabia is a major role player in this region’s
economic and industrial growth and development into the future,
and harmonising our strengths can pave the way for far greater opportunities
for the GCC as a whole. Our association with SPP is one purposive
stride in this direction and we hope to extend our partnership to
more business groups in the Kingdom in the days to come.”
