Government of Sultanate of Oman honours Oman LNG

HE Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, Under-Secretary of Ministry of
Oil & Gas, honoured Oman LNG by awarding it with a shield of
excellence for having achieved 10 million hours without a Loss Time
Incident (LTI).
Engineer Amour Al Matani, Deputy General Manger of Oman LNG, received
the distinct government award on behalf of the Company.
This is a milestone for the company and is a worldclass figure
when benchmarked against other companies in the industry.
His Excellency Nasser Al Jashmi praised the company's continuos
endeavour to conduct its operations safely and with great reliability.
His Excellency remarked that, "the Government, as the regulator
of the oil and gas sector in the country and a shareholder in Oman
LNG, recognises the endeavour of the company in achieving this milestone
and has thus awarded it an achievement shield. We are confident
that Oman LNG, having achieved 10 million man-hours without LTI,
will continue to strengthen and enhance its superior performance."
His Excellency lauded the effort put in by the Company's members
of staff and its contractors, "I would like to take this opportunity
to congratulate Oman LNG's staff and its contractors for this remarkable
achievement and wish them great success in their consistent endeavour
to set new boundaries of distinction."
